Marshall’s Club Outing

September 22 @ 8:00 am 3:00 pm

In September 2023, the world lost a beloved son, grandson, brother and friend. Marshall St. Sauver was a freshman at Dow High School in Midland who was kind, helpful and an athlete who could always lighten the mood with his sense of humor.

One of Marshall’s many sports enjoyed was golf. He loved to play with his family and had a flair for making up his own rules on the course. Marshall would putt from anywhere on the golf course – the green, the fringe, even the fairway. For his family and friends, putting from anywhere on the golf course will now forever be known as “Pulling a Marshall.” His golf ball of choice was SpongeBob SquarePants, and he would strategically place it on the tee with SpongeBob facing outward, “so he could see where he was going!”

It is in this spirit of fun and camaraderie that his family and friends put together what we plan to be an annual golf outing in his honor to raise funds for the Children’s Grief Center – Great Lakes Bay Region (GLBR).

Sadly, Marshall died from suicide. It is our hope that through this golf outing, we can spread awareness and support of organizations that help teens and children struggling with grief.

If you are unable to attend the event, but would like to donate to the Children’s Grief Center, please feel free to do so here. If you would prefer to make a donation by check, they can be made out to Marshall’s Club and mailed to Jen St. Sauver at 4204 Isabella St., Midland, MI 48640.
